Arbitration vs Adjudication
08/26/19 2:39 AM

Hey everybody.

I know this site is all about learning how to not make a fool of yourself in adjudication, pre and post trial.

I was wondering if any of you could help me understand what role arbitration has in civil law.

The other side says arbitration is very good to use instead of court and especially a jury trial.

My gut tells me I should always do all I can to reserve the right to an adjudication in a trial by jury or judge. I'm not sure why, I just feel like because they would like to NOT have a trial in a court, that's what I SHOULD always look to do.

Thoughts anyone?

The course goes over this. I don't know what to tell you for your personal situation. We're all (I hope) devouring the course. There is no substitute for learning what's contained in the course on our own.

Ok. Thanks for the response MISTY2. It looks like I'm getting ahead of myself...i'm not done with the course YET and here I am, posing questions that are addressed later.

At least the forum is livening up!

Jeff
