Just wanted to pass along some of my experience as a law enforcement officer. Yes it may be in your rights to refuse to have a drivers license but I see it so many times on YouTube where all the Police/Cop whatever wants to see a Drivers license. Well you've got a dilemma only you can answer. Many times you got folks hollering about their rights and I agree you must stand for your rights but you also have to learn to pick your battles. You can holler all day long that you don't need a license but what happens you get pulled over and get a ticket for no license. I remember in school I had lots of friends from all walks of life. Some were devout Christian and some were potheads. The potheads knew dope was illegal but still carried it on their persons. So much that the police knew they had an easy bust every time they saw them. If you always are ready to have an issue the Cops will stop you. My advice is to become the grey person. Make sure your plates tags and stickers are good and have a logical story in your head when you get stopped. Don't volunteer anything beyond your story. Read You and the Police a book you can find in relation to dealing with traffic stops. You don't need to be a jerk use verbal judo subtle like. Putting a cop on defensive or saying jack booted thugs only asks for more trouble. The hardest people a cop has to get mean with is a friendly person. If it starts getting hinky with an officer start mentioning your infirmities. We all have them. You could have stubbed your toe or pulled your muscle. If you move move slowly. Relate a story of why you're infirmed. This may keep an overzealous young cop from slamming you to the ground. Practice calming matters down. They are going to bust your Windows anyway and you'll have to pay to have them replaced. So many times I've seen it on YouTube some guy saying I have rights I don't need a drivers license or a license Plate on my
car. Guess where they end up? you got it handcuffs and or jail. Just something to ponder. Keep it civil.
