Attorney's Motion for Withdrawal - In Violation
11/12/21 10:34 AM

I am in a situation where the counsel I hired submitted a Motion for Withdrawal (from representing me. There is a signed contract.) on Tuesday, November 09, 2021, and the next Hearing is on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.

The attorney got offended by my request for explanations and to be informed of decisions etc.

I do not feel confident to be pro se in this matter.

I read the rules of professional responsibility standards and this attorney violated many chapter 4 rules in the rule book.

The fact that she submitted a Motion for Withdrawal without material adverse effect on the interest of the client (providing adequate time for me to find and hire new counsel). Rule 4-1.16(b)(1)

Today I sent her a request to file a motion for continuance on my behalf, however, it is a Federal holiday.

Does the court grant extra time in matters like this, although a motion for continuance was not filed to move the court?

@joseph66

Would that mean I need to appear on November 16, 2021 for the hearing and move the court for continuance (Motion)?

I live out of state.
