We did not dispute an eviction back in July 2017, locked out early August. Per the lease, we were allowed 30 days to vacate after lockout. The landlord caused obstruction and we hired an attorney who filed OSC.
Judge ruled in our favor and allotted additional 7 days, landlord obstructed again an the same attorney filed another OSC. Judge gave additional 7 days. Those 7 days ended on Nov. 4th; the landlord had again obstructed by denying access on one of the days.
Our attorney was unavailable so I filed pro se and was denied without prejudice, citing the need for an attorney for commercial tenant unless it was special circumstances.
In the past 2 months I retained 2 different lawyers and neither filed any motion despite being paid. We are facing hardship because the landlord is holding on to 25% of the equipment that is still need to start business at a newly leased place. Out of funds to retain anymore lawyers, under what statue or special circumstances can I reference for the Judge to allow pro se?
