Dr. Graves,

What can I do if I have entered a request for clerk entry of default but they deny without a reason?

Will I have to make an order for clerk?

Becuase it was for the other parties failure to properly respond with an answer in a timely manner.

Why not file a motion for default and set it for hearing. However, if the other side has filed ANYTHING as a response, the clerk cannot grant a default. All explained in my course.

I have filed a lawsuit against the United States Postal Service and U.S. Department of Justice Dept. I have filed both the Clerks Entry of Default and Default Judgment request and still neither party has responded. Any thoughts of what else I could due to expedite the process?
