Judge ruled on withdrawn motion
02/01/21 3:35 PM

I filed a written motion to compel compliance with response to production demand: The opposing party responded that would produce all documents per production demand, but did not produce none.

On 1.27.2021 I filed written withdrawal of the motion.
On 1.29.2021 1:30PM the judge published a tentative ruling on the motion "to compel supplementary response". Tentative ruling is a written preliminary ruling which can be argued at hearing.
On hearing 2.1.2021 10AM the judge said that she received written withdrawal of the motion on 1.27.2021. The judge said that withdrawal was late and that the judge would rule on the motion anyway.

I asked by which statute, court's rule or case law the court decided that withdrawal was late.
As I remember, Dr. Graves wrote that the motion could be withdrawn any time until the court's order.

The judge stated that the court would not give no answers to me.

On the comment that I did not "compel supplementary response", but compliance to the previous response on production demand, the judge did not dignify me with answer.

Advice?
