ok, I got a ticket for illegal window tint. NCGS gives me 15 days to remove the tint and get this certified that the tint has been removed from my car. The law then states that I go before the prosecuting attorney or the clerk to get this ratified. The citation does not give a fine of any sort. Should I file an answer along with all of my paper work before or after I go to see the clerk of court. My paper work would include my own affidavit saying that I have complied with all applicable laws and a copy of the examiners report from where he certified that the vehicle is now up to code.
