Amendment to the complaint or amended complaint

If an amendment to the complaint is filed within reasonable time, does the clock start again for the defendant?

Is it the same for an amended pleading?

Additionally, if a plaintiff receives a motion pursuant to FRCP 12b,e, and f, does the clock start for the plaintiff on how much time she has to file an amendment or an amended pleading?

What if there are multiple defendants, some defendants file early motions (prior to the elapse of the 21 days allowed), and another defendant waits until the 21st day to file her motion under FRCP 12, is the plaintiff barred from filing an amendment or an amended pleading or does he still have the privilege of 21 days after the first motion under FRCP 12 was filed by the defendant that filed early motions?

Where can I find an example of a memorandum within jurisdictionary.com?

Finally, did the site have a "search" option?

Sincerely

An amendment must be filed BEFORE the opposing party files any paper in response OR one must file a "Motion to Amend", set it for hearing, give good cause why the court should allow the amendment (after the opposing party has responded), and get an order from the court allowing the amendment. Hope this helps and that you are telling EVERYONE about my course!
