Civil domestic violence case and court obstruction
06/11/18 7:24 PM

I had a domestic violence case filed against me, and I know you her it all the time, but I didn't do it. My ex fabricated a story speaking about the things I did while in the military, but I retired 24 years ago and have changed after 24 years of counseling. We had even been going to family counseling for the last two years. I told the judge I did lots of bad things in the military, but I'd been in counseling since retiring and am not like that any longer.

She presented NO evidence other than her verbal statement and I presented text messages that showed that except for two occasions we got along fine, and even those two times were rough after me telling her we needed to get moving to sell the house. I'm stuck living in a 1942 mobile home that is no longer livable, but until the house is sold, I can't afford another place, and my half of the $250k in equity in the joint property would cover my new home. I also subpoenaed the counselor, but he wrote to the court claiming he wasn't qualified to be an expert witness, but that was not what I subpoenaed him for, it was to speak about our counseling and to tell the court that she had never spoke of any abuse, as there was none. The court said they were going to ignore the subpoena, they also, when it came to the texts, told me "pick two pages. I'm not going to read through all of these." The issue was that it showed when I moved back to the houTse, which was last November, not February of this year. It also showed how much money I had spent on the house helping her out, fuel, electric, snowblowers, appliances, on and on... The judge ignored it all and when I was presenting my evidence. He found for her, took my guns, even though it was not a criminal matter and the guns were not used in the action, and he has prevented me from recovering ANY of my belongings that are in the house. I filed a motion to vacate, and he said he considered it a motion for a new trial and a motion to reconsidered and he denied it and said to file an appeal if I wish. I don't know what to d
