U.S. Code interpretation

I found a federal statute, 50 USC §4305(b)(2), that I think is great and I would like to use it, but what if the way I interpret this law is incorrect?

Should I get 2 or 3 different lawyer's opinions before I run off trying to use this law the way that I see it?

No. What some attorney things means nothing.
Do the research. Find appellate court opinions that agree with your view of the statute. Cite those. All explained in the course, JEFFREY24. Please dig in. :)

Ok,I like that answer. The only problem is that I DO NOT have the time to learn all of this, learn how to research law, and put a winning case together all by myself. I literally only have a few years left to live and I'd like to know if my perception of the statute 50 USC 4305(b)(2) is accurate or anywhere near accurate.

The frustrating thing is now that I need and ask for help with something I believe is helpful to many Americans, I can't seem to get it.

Oh well, I'm probably wrong about it all and misunderstand everything most likely anyway. Sorry for wasting your time. Thanks for reading my post.

JEFFREY24 ...
You're not wasting anyone's time. My work is helping people.
At the same time, YOU must learn how to do these things, and you will find it does not take very much time to learn.
Your interpretation of a statute MAY be ok, but the way to convince judges is to cite cases by appellate courts that interpret the statute as you wish it to be interpreted.
Nothing is going to change that reality.
I've been a practicing attorney 34 years, sir. Take my advice and, if you possibly can, find appellate court cases that interpret the statute and cite those cases in your paperwork.
See the class on SUMMARY JUDGMENT for samples of how case citations are used to control judges, please.

Does any one know of a good cite book with constitutional sites like the old "The Citebook" had focusing on constitutional rights and liberty interests in various areas. I have found the QWIK Legal Cites book but to me it is not as good on focusing on good quotes that defend peoples rights like The Citebook. So I am looking for something like that citebook if it is out there. Any one know of such a book out today?
