RE: redundant? for striking a complaint as sham

Dr. Graves mentioned a motion to strike a complaint as sham, and one of the bullet point reasons said "redundant".
Is there anyone here who can elaborate on what would constitute "redundant" (so I can know whether or not I can use this in a motion to strike).

One may move to strike "that portion" of a complaint that says the same thing as some other portion(s) of the complaint, e.g., when the opposing party is merely attempting to strengthen the force of his pleading (or motion or other paper) by repeating the same thing again and again. It is not effective to put an end to the case but only to remove the repetitive parts.
