DISCOVERY PROCESS REQUEST FOR ADMISSIONS
10/11/22 11:04 AM

JURISDICTION,

In the discovery process in
1. Requesting For Admission,
2. Request For Production of Documents
3. Interrogatories
4. Subpoena's
5. Depositions

Are we suppose to file with the Court any documents
that we are sending to the opposing party?

I got a letter from the Court on my first Request For Admission.

I believe that the Opposing Parties and Plaintiff are suppose to keep the Discovery process Independent from the Court unless we are Requesting a Subpoena, or Compelling the Court to do something?

Does any know of this so I can proceed without any delays?

Yes you may be (read the rules) required to file a certificate of service that you served the opposing counsel/ party with discovery, when and what type of discovery. Also be careful to sign the discovery requests (no obligation to respond to unsigned requests- read the rules) (have to word the discovery very well, they will not want to answer- big fight) and you are not to send copies of the discovery requested or answers unless they fail to answer or answer improperly. Then, if you need those responses, you will have to file to show that they did not answer and to have the court compel discovery. Generally speaking I have found pro se's are held to a higher standard than lawyers. (be careful to do this correctly or you will likely be sanctioned. )

Yes - you can start discovery anytime after the suit is filed, as well as when you file the suit. Read the rules.
