Default judgement
03/26/23 11:36 AM

I recently appealed an eviction notice and won because there was a question about ownership as the owner and I had a verbal agreement and after four years payment decided they didn't want to let the property go for what they agreed to with me. As a result of that case the owner signed a new agreement as to the sale and would not follow through. My lawyer filed for non performance of said agreement of which the owner again failed to comply so he filed suit for non performance and breach of contract.
My problem is I haven't seen the actual court documents that were filed or the suit that was filed and although the case was granted as a default judgement I don't know what it means for me and my lawyer says there is nothing else he can do and now I don't know what I'm supposed to do.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you
